At Community Living Central York-we are often proud of our community and team, sometimes we are given the opportunity to share in our celebrations. Yesterday was a special day of recognition for one of our community members, Emily.
Emily has been an active participant at Community Living for over ten years, and loves giving back to her community. She has been a volunteer at Southlake Regional Health Centre for the past five years, and was recognized for her outstanding dedication with an award for her service. She received her commemorative pin from hospital President and CEO, Arden Krystal.
Emily looks forward to continuing her commitment to volunteering. Many of us consider volunteering, not many make this level of commitment. What a wonderful role model she is for all of us. Here she is with her team from the Volunteer Resource Centre at Southlake.

We’re all so proud of Emily for this recognition and for her continued passion for volunteerism, giving back and living our vision to build “a community where everyone belongs”!
Congratulations Emily!!!!
